Cabarrius Frierson
Journalist
About Me
Cabarrius Frierson is a Multimedia Journalism major with a double minor in African American Studies and Communications. He aspire to become a well-rounded journalist who focuses mostly on radio and television. He thirst for the passion in public speaking and helping others in his community. Frierson is currently the first male in my family to go to college and the first to pursue a masters degree. The main goal is to be the best version of himself and to not take life for granted.

He is Nashville native that has the soul of a million blues and country music artist. He represents his Aries nature well as he has the spontaneous personality and determination attitude. He has risen from a self-driven lifestyle, which required him to become an advanced individual. He is the youngest in his family and the only boy in his household family.

Frierson has always wanted to be a winner no matter what he put his mind to. His high school experience would be described as a life full of opportunities that he took advantage of. Brace yourself, he was part of the debate team for 2 years, Mid-State Choir, Track Team, Cross Country, Prom Court and Coming-Home Court. Did you get all that? His number one supporter through it all, the one and only Queen herself, his mother Miranda Jones.
Frierson's college career is where he finds himself and grow into the person that he is proud to become. Even with college he was the over achiever. Brace yourself once again, he spent his time joining N.A.A.C.P, The Collegiate 100 Inc., Student Union Supervisor, Homecoming Court, MT-10, Sidelines News, WMTS (intern), Community Service Chair of Collegiate 100 in 2018 and was voted the Treasure in 2019 .

Graduated with his bachelors November 2020 from Middle Tennessee State University. He still seeks to peruse his dreams to be apart of the new media world.
Thinking small is something Cabarrius Frierson isn't familiar with. He never takes failure as a lost, he takes it as a lesson, because he believe that their are always ways to improve yourself as an individual.
